- Locum Little Black Book
- Locum Fine Steels have launched the Little Black Book of steel. Locum General Manager Simon Taylor described the book as “Everything you wanted to know about steel, but were afraid to ask.” “We are regularly asked at Locum varying questions regarding steel, whether it be how metal is produced, to details of our metal composition. It seemed logical to put this into print, and make it more accessible to people.” The book is available by contacting any of the team at Locum, and will soon be converted into an online metals database.
- Lanserve Sales Team Expands
- The sales team at Lanserve UK has been further strengthened in the New Year with the appointment of Sales Director Richard Asquith. Richard brings with him over 12 years IT sales experience, and has clear plans to take Lanserve UK into new directions, whilst providing new products and services to existing customers. Lanserve UK Managing Director Andrew Eyre commented, “We have been trying to bring Richard to the team for nearly 2 years now, and it’s so refreshing that he has brought a new leadership and direction to the business. He has already brought two further staff to the sales team, and I have been most impressed with his professionalism and high level of customer care.”
- Seal Website Is Go!
- The new Seal website was launched in early February and is accessible at www.sealengineering.co.uk. From original concept to the final product, the website has taken a little longer than expected to come to fruition. Managing Director Andy England explains why, “This was a big leap for us as a company. We have been approached many times about creating a website, but as an engineer first and foremost I always felt that unless it could be done really well, was informative and actually gave an insight to who we are, what we do and spoke volumes about Seal as a company I didn’t want to do it. I didn’t just want a one page site that gave people contact details and a map, which adds nothing to Seal as a company and serves no purpose to the users of the site. The new website is also ideal to launch the new branding for Seal Engineering that I hope people have started to see in communication to and from ourselves. Already we have had many positive comments about the site, new enquiries for sales and employment opportunites here at Seal.”
